Have Questions About River Park Dental?

Check out these frequently asked questions, or call us at (860) 785-8496 to speak with our team.

  • How often should I see a dentist?

To keep your teeth healthy and beautiful, it is important to see Dr. Ahmed for your regular exams and cleanings every 6 months. Regular appointments ensure that we can catch small issues early, to prevent them from developing into more costly issues.

  • How can I tell If I have a cavity?

If you have a toothache or if you are experiencing sensitivity to hot or cold food, you may have a cavity! Come in for an exam to see if you need fillings to prevent further damage and decay.

  • Are dental x-rays safe?

Yes! When getting your x-rays taken, you will be wearing a protective bib to shield you from radiation. Additionally, the amount of radiation that you will be exposed to is so low, x-rays are considered safe for children and adults, alike. However, if you are pregnant, or think you may be pregnant, tell Dr. Ahmed as x-rays are not recommended during pregnancy.

“I want to change patients’ perception of coming to the dentist. I want my patients to look forward to coming back.”
